Important Changes to Korea Immigration Reporting System

A registered foreign national must report certain changes to the Immigration Office within 15 days.

Effective June 1, 2026, the types of reports that may be submitted by fax will be limited.

Effective July 1, 2026, reports of changes to a foreign national's job type, industry, and annual income may be submitted online only.

Below is a quick overview of the reporting methods available from June 1 and July 1, 2026:

* Those holding any of the following statuses of stay: E-1, E-2, E-3, E-4, E-5, E-6, E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, F-2, F-4, F-6, D-7, D-8, and D-9.

Given the stricter filing procedures, it is advisable to verify the appropriate submission method in advance to avoid delays or compliance issues.
