Investment must be in government-approved tourism or leisure facilities
Eligible for F-2 resident status upon investment
Possible transition to F-5 permanent residency after five years
Residency status may extend to the investor’s immediate family
No requirement to reside in the region of the investment; investors may live anywhere in Korea
Investment Opportunity in Incheon
Incheon is one of the government-designated regions where foreign investors can qualify for the real estate investment immigration program.
Located on Korea’s west coast and adjacent to Seoul, Incheon is a major international gateway city and a key economic hub. The city is home to Incheon International Airport, one of the world’s leading airports, and the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), which attracts global businesses, finance, and technology companies.
Why Incheon?
1. International Business Hub
Incheon serves as a strategic gateway to Northeast Asia, with world-class logistics, international schools, and multinational corporate presence, particularly in Songdo International City.
2. Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ)
IFEZ includes Songdo, Yeongjong, and Cheongna districts, all of which were developed to attract foreign investment with modern infrastructure, smart-city planning, and global business environments.
3. Proximity to Seoul
Incheon offers convenient access to the capital region, Korea’s largest economic and cultural center, while providing relatively lower property prices and newly developed residential and resort-style facilities.
4. Coastal Lifestyle and Tourism Appeal
With its waterfront developments, islands, marinas, and leisure facilities, Incheon offers a balanced lifestyle combining urban convenience with coastal scenery.
Important Note
Only specific, government-designated properties qualify for the investment immigration program. Ordinary residential apartments or non-designated properties are generally not eligible.
